Capturing the Emotion: A Photography Perspective of Maahol's First Poetry Event
As the first rays of sunshine peeked through the clouds, the doors to the poetry event opened wide, inviting in a sea of eager poetry enthusiasts. The air was filled with a buzz of anticipation and excitement, as people eagerly found their seats, waiting for the event to begin.
As the poets took to the stage, their words came to life in a mesmerizing display of emotion and expression. From heart-wrenching stories of love and loss, to powerful messages of hope and resilience, each poet brought a unique perspective and style to the event.
As the official photographer of the event, I had the privilege of capturing the raw emotion and beauty of each moment. From the subtle smiles of the audience, to the intense gaze of the poets as they spoke, every detail was captured and immortalized in a single photograph.
As the event came to a close, the applause and cheers echoed throughout the room, a testament to the power of poetry to bring people together and inspire change. As the attendees left the event, they carried with them the memories and experiences of a truly unforgettable evening, thanks to the vision and hard work of the Maahol team.
It was a great pleasure to be a social media partner for Maahol’s poetry event once again in November 2022. As a team member of Routine of Kirtipur, I was excited to be a part of this event and to help spread the word about the amazing work of these talented poets.

What I admire most about Maahol is their commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in poetry. They welcome poets of all genders, ages, ethnicities, and genres, ensuring that everyone has a chance to be heard and appreciated. They also use their platform to raise awareness of social issues and advocate for positive change through poetry.
